Wedding & Renewal of Vows Celebrant
Personal & meaningful ceremonies led by an experienced celebrant.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who can bring calm leadership, genuine warmth, and a beautifully personalised ceremony, I’d love to help.
I’m an experienced minister and celebrant who has led many weddings and family ceremonies. I can offer a ceremony that is Christian (faith-based), lightly spiritual, or fully non-religious, depending on what feels right for you.
I’m based in Chingford and regularly serve couples across London, Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Renewal of Vows Ceremonies
A renewal of vows is a powerful moment — whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, marking a fresh chapter, or simply wanting to say “I choose you” again in front of the people you love.
Renewals are non-legal celebration ceremonies, which means they can be as simple or as structured as you want, and can take place in almost any setting.
Renewal ceremonies can include:
A short reflection on your journey and what you’ve built together
Renewed vows (repeat-after-me or written)
Ring exchange or a symbolic moment (optional)
Family involvement
A closing blessing/prayer if you would like one.
Important note about legal marriage
I can legally register marriages at my church in Chingford, London, but I cannot legally register marriages at external venues such as hotels or restaurants. This is normal in England & Wales: for most ceremonies, the legal authority is tied to a registered/approved venue, not a “portable” officiant.
If you’re marrying at a hotel or wedding venue
If your venue is an approved premises, the legal marriage is conducted by the local registration service, and the ceremony content must be non-religious.
“Legal bit + celebrant ceremony” option
Many couples choose to do a short legal ceremony at a register office (or approved premises) and then have a full personalised celebrant ceremony (faith-based or otherwise) at their chosen venue. If you’re considering this, I can help you plan the flow so it feels seamless for guests.
